Our Council's Own Awards and Patches
Troops and individual girls often choose to enhance their Girl Scout experience by participating in council patch programs. These unique patch and award projects provide an opportunity to explore specific themes through fun and educational hands-on activities.
Council patches may be purchased through the Bay Shops in the Newark and Salisbury Program Centers. You can purchase many patches online at our online Bay Shop (www.girlscoutbayshop.org), or by stopping by our Newark, DE and Salisbury, MD Bay Shops. Participation patches may be worn on the back of a girl’s tunic, vest, sash or on a jacket (see Placement Guide). A display of current patches and requirements can also be found in the Volunteer Resource Center of each Council Office, and in the Bay Shops in Newark and Salisbury
