Susan Wilson Krick
Honorary Chair: Carol Everhart
Co-Chairs: Deb Grubbe and Janet Maher
Susan Wilson Krick has been a familiar face in Rehoboth Beach since the early 1980’s. The community pairs her mostly with her membership and leadership positions as Board Member and past President of the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce and her renditions of the Disney character “Minnie Mouse” at the annual Sea Witch Festival and Fiddlers Convention. Sue’s passions revolve around giving back to the community, volunteering, supporting local business and mentoring youth. Sue served as the “face” in the local restaurant community from 1984 to 2005 and served as Board Member, Secretary and Past President of the Delaware Restaurant Association (DRA). She also was a Charter Member, Board Member and President of the local Rehoboth Beach Restaurant Association (RBRA). In 1994, she was named “Restaurateur of the Year” by the DRA Board of Directors. In 2010, she organized an official group for the Blood Bank of Delmarva and remains the custodian of the group. She and her husband, Richard, are retired from the restaurant industry, having owned and operated the Summer House Restaurant and Saloon in Downtown Rehoboth Beach for 23 years.
