Each year, service members all over the world and those in need of a treat on the Delmarva Peninsula receive Girl Scout Cookies, as well
as magazine vouchers through Operation Taste of Home (OTH). Customers purchase boxes or cases of cookies for service members
and community organizations as part of the community service component of the Girl Scout Cookie Program.

2017 patch

OTH statistics

Thanks to our generous customers, we have donated over 322,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies since 2003 to men and women in the
Armed Forces and to numerous charities across the peninsula! Girl Scout troops may invite customers to participate in this project by participating in the 2016 Fall Product Program or the 2017 Girl Scout Cookie Program.

Girl Scout Cookie Program

Customers may buy cookies for $4 per box, designating their purchase to Operation Taste of Home. This contribution is tax deductible.
Customers will not receive the cookies they purchase for this service project. Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay delivers cookies to military
troops and local charities. Donations still benefit Girl Scouts, as girls and troops receive full credit toward rewards and troop proceeds for all
cookies sold through the program.

Fall Product Program

Girls may take orders for $6 magazine or nut vouchers either in person or as part of their online program. Each magazine voucher is combined
with 3 others to provide free magazine vouchers that will be distributed to military personnel serving overseas. Nut vouchers will be turned into
Honey Roasted Peanuts and will be distributed to those in need through local food banks.
