Camp Program Opportunities

Participate in Staff-Led Program Activities while at Camp!

In addition to scheduled programs you can schedule the unique programs listed below which will be customized to work with all grade levels. There must be at least eight girls registered to participate in a program. If your troop size is smaller than the minimum of eight girls, one must pay at least the $60 or $96 depending on the type of program you choose.

Payment in full is due at least four weeks before your visit. Full refunds are available three weeks before scheduled visit. All programs cost $7.50 per girl except for boating activities which are $12 per girl. Programs are scheduled and provided upon staff availability.

Contact the camp directors to schedule a program for your group. If you have a need that you don’t see listed, call and ask. We are here to help you and your girls enjoy our camps!

Each site offers unique programming throughout the year:

Archery:

A qualified facilitator will lead a two hour session of this exciting sport targeted to your age and abilities. $7.50 per participant.  (minimum $60 total)
Available at: Camp Country Center, Camp Grove Point, Camp Sandy Pines, Camp Todd

Canoeing:

A qualified facilitator will lead a two hour session of this exciting sport targeted to your age and abilities. $12 per participant.  (minimum $96 total)
Available at: Camp Todd

Kayaking:

A qualified facilitator will lead a two hour session of this exciting sport targeted to your age and abilities. $12 per participant.  (minimum $96 total)

Team Building Activities (self-led):

Self-guided Challenge Course Stations are installed at Camp Sandy Pines and is available free of charge.

Teams Challenge (Low Ropes) Course:

A trained facilitator will lead you in two hours of fun and challenge for all ages on Grove Point’s new multi-element teams challenge course.  $7.50 per participant.  (minimum $60 total)

Sailing:

Qualified facilitators will lead a two hour session of this exciting sport targeted to your age and abilities. $12 per participant.  (minimum $96 total)
Available at:  Camp Grove Point from April 15th – October 15th

Orienteering:

A qualified facilitator will lead a two hour session map and compass use targeted to your age and abilities. $7.50 per participant.  (minimum $60 total)

Nature Hikes:

Explore the and name trees and bugs along the trails hidden at each camp site with a qualified instructor.  $7.50 per participant (minimum $60 total)

Science Activities:

Sponsored by Agilent Technologies.  Get Energized! With Wizard Science!  Ooey gooey fun as well as learning with your new found scientific skills. $7.50 per participant (minimum $60 total) Available at: Camp Country Center

Tennis:

Learn the ins and outs on the court.  Explore the rules of the game as well as hit a few balls around and have some fun.  $7.50 per participant (minimum o$60 total)

Encampments

Are you planning an Encampment or Day Camp?  Do you need help? Contact Cathy Stafford, Camp Program Manager for details on how you can get support to provide fun and exciting programming on site. We can help you with program in Orienteering, Canoeing, Kayaking, Sailing, Swimming and Team Building. Cost will very depending on the size of the group and the number of staff that will be needed. Payment in full is due four weeks before your event. Refunds are available up to three weeks before the reservation, after which no refund will be offered.  Some programs are not available at all camps.

Meeting/Activity Space

Troops may use space free of charge in any camp building on weekdays for regular troop meetings (2 hour limit), if space is available. In return for this privilege, you must leave the meeting space and bathrooms clean and perform 2 service projects each year for the site. Meeting space reservations may be made for the upcoming school year beginning each July. Weekends, Special events and Overnights require the normal fee. A Troop Meeting Space Agreement form must be completed and approved by the program department to reserve meeting space at any campsite.
