With over 400 different species of birds found in Maryland, the state has earned the reputation as one of the finest bird watching areas along the Atlantic coast. Eagles, hawks, herons and yellow breasted sapsuckers are only a few of the many birds that call Camp Todd home.
The Caroline Birding Club has been coming to Camp Todd for almost five years, identifying which birds are here at what time of year, which birds are rare etc. They put together a great pamphlet which is found in the box by the parking lot. They come out periodically and keep the pamphlet updated. Please return the guide(s) to the box when you are done. Binoculars are available for a small rental fee. See Ranger for details.
