Adrenaline Skating Center Daisy Girl Scout Events

Join the fun! Adrenaline Skating Center has special roller skating events for all Daisy Girl Scouts throughout the year, including reduced admission days, Juliette Low's Birthday Party, Petal workshops, Pizza Parties and more. Legs, Wings and Antennae
WHO: Daisies
WHEN: March 6, 2010, 9 am– 10:30 am
WHERE: The Holly Center, Salisbury, MD
COST: $6.50 per girl. Includes materials and fun patch.
Little critters are everywhere! They are the most common animals we see most often. Explore the myths, beauty, and life cycle of insects, spiders, and more wiggly critters. Most are our friends!
Science, Dazed or Dazzled?
WHO: Daisies
WHEN: March 13, 2010, 9:30 am – 12 pm
WHERE: Camp Country Center, Hockessin, DE
COST: $8 per girl includes materials, and a fun patch.
NOTE: Could get messy, dress comfortably.
Let’s get started exploring how the world works! What’s magnetic, and what’s not? What’s the strongest shape to use for a building? What animal lives in what habitat? How can you tell? Activities will begin your Between Earth and Sky Journey.
SCIENCE for the Season
WHO: Daisies
WHEN: March 28, 2010, 2 pm – 4:30 pm
WHERE: Camp Country Center, Hockessin, DE
COST: $7.50 per girl. Includes materials, fun patch.
NOTE: Wear outdoor clothing, sturdy shoes and gloves. Bring a snack to share with new friends.
Let’s explore for signs that spring is coming soon! We’ll play nature games, learn about the animals that live at our camp and find the secret trail as we take a fun hike and sing Girl Scout songs. Activities will begin your Between Earth and Sky Journey.

Critter Adventure
WHO: Daisies
WHEN: May 8, 2010, 2 pm – 4:30 pm
WHERE: Camp Country Center, Hockessin, DE
COST: $7.50 per girl. Includes materials, fun patch.
NOTE: Dress for outdoors, wear sturdy shoes and bring a snack to share.
Two legs, four legs, six legs, eight! Bones, feathers, shells, nests. Come and explore the specimens and clues to learn who lives at our camp. We’ll learn songs, hike, play games and make new friends. Activities will start you on your Between Earth and Sky Journey.
Daisies Discovery Weekend
WHO: Daisies
WHEN: May 8, 9 am – May 9, 2010, 10 am
WHERE: Camp Grove Point
COST: $20 per registered Girl Scout / $32 per non-registered Girl Scout. Includes three meals and a snack.
Roast marshmallows over the fire, learn trail signs while hiking, go on a scavenger hunt, sing silly songs, do obstacle course activities, crafts, learn about nature, and have a Daisy slumber party! Leaders do NOT need to be camp trained to attend this event. Adults must register for this event. A Camp Counselor will not be provided for individual girls.
