The Family Partnership Campaign is an annual opportunity for families of adult and girl members to partner with Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay. Family Partnership funds ensure that Girl Scouting is available to all girls. The tax-deductible contributions made through Family Partnership Campaign remain on the Delmarva Peninsula and are an investment that will make a difference in girls today and build the beacon for future generations of leaders.
This membership year your family has an opportunity to designate your donation to the new Northern Resource Center Capital Campaign, Camp Properties, and Girl Scholarships/Outreach Programs.
Northern Resource Center Capital Campaign
Funds will be used to directly support the Northern Resource Center Capital Campaign, and help us avoid the need for a mortgage. Commemorative bricks are still available for purchase, beginning at $150 for three lines of text. The bricks will be installed in front of the building as a permanent reminder of your support. This is a great opportunity to honor a girl, troop leader, lifetime member, business, community group, or that special Girl Scout in your life. Download the “Build the Beacon” form.
Funds support camp improvements and general maintenance to our four existing camp properties ensuring our camps are safe, well maintained, and have a variety of program opportunities.
Girl Scholarships/Outreach Programs
Funds provide financial assistance to provide the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to underserved and economically challenged girls, including sending girls to summer camp, registration fees, and program materials.
Invest in girls. Change the world. It really is that simple.
So please, be a part of the Family Partnership Campaign today and lend your support with your tax-deductible contribution. And when you see a girl today become a leader in your community, you’ll know you’re the one who helped to get her there. Our new Northern Resource Center is being built on a beautiful seven acre wooded lot on Old Baltimore Pike in Newark, DE and will serve the entire Delmarva Peninsula. The building will include a multi-purpose room, retail shop, offices and exhibit area. The woods and stream will be used for on-site outdoor education. Details about the building (including construction photos, drone footage and the Building the Beacon patch) can be found here.
