Mission
almost accomplished in reaching the goal of 35,000 boxes of Girl
Scout Cookies for Operation Taste of Home; please help us make it.
As it stands to today, the community has donated 32,000 boxes of the
Girl Scout Cookies to send out to our armed forces overseas.
Delivery of Girl Scout Cookies to USO, Air National Guard, and VA
hospitals is Wednesday, May 3 so there is still time to reach
the goal.
To
support Operation Taste of Home, call 1-800-YUM-YUM2 or go to

Since 2003, Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council Operation
Taste of Homesm
has provided over 70,000 boxes of the Girl Scout cookies to
our Armed Forces overseas via the USO thanks to the
generosity of the community. The USO located at Dover Air Force Base
distributed the cookies all over the world. This project gave girls
the opportunity to make a positive difference for our women and men
in the armed forces overseas.
Girl Scouting builds girls of confidence, courage,
and character, who make the world a better place.
We do that by providing girls with personal leadership development
and programs that build real life skills for the real world. To
