Camp Country Center

Camp Country Center is located in Hockessin, Delaware. The camp features a state-of-the-art, environmentally sustainable Science and Technology Lodge, Digital Media Center, Troop House, and rustic camping units with Adirondack cabins or platform tents. Favorite activities at Camp Country Center include archery, hiking, and STEM programs.

Archery and low challenge course are available for hourly rental. Certified facilitators are required for both activities.

STEM Lodge

Maximum Capacity: 100 day/37 overnight

Contains a commercial kitchen, small stage in large room, science lab, and indoor plumbing. ServSafe certification is required for any group wishing to rent and utilize the kitchen. Sleeping accommodations are mattresses which can be placed on the floor in the main room. The lodge is Delaware’s first platinum LEED-certified building. The building is 5,000 square feet and features signage throughout highlighting the sustainable features of the structure.

Troop House

Maximum Capacity: 50 day/ 20 overnight

Contains a residential kitchen with a refrigerator, stove top, oven, and microwave, 2 showers, indoor plumbing, heat, water, and electricity. Sleeping accommodations are mattresses which can be placed on the floor.

Squirrel Hill

Maximum Capacity: 16

Contains four platform tents with a unit house and fire circle. There is no electricity and featured bathrooms are pit latrines. Running water is available April 10-October 31.

Windsong

Maximum Capacity: 32

Contains four Adirondack cabins with a unit house and fire circle. There is no electricity and featured bathrooms are pit latrines. Running water is available April 10-October 31.

Frog Hollow

Maximum Capacity: 16

Contains two Adirondack cabins with a unit house and fire circle. There is no electricity and featured bathrooms are pit latrines. Running water is available April 10-October 31.

Owls Nest

Maximum Capacity: 16

Contains two Adirondack cabins with a unit house and fire circle. There is no electricity and featured bathrooms are pit latrines. Running water is available April 10-October 31.

Hidden Meadow Pavilion

Maximum Capacity: 30 day only

Has electricity, nearby fire circle, and pit latrines.

Smokey Rock Pavilion

Maximum Capacity: 20 day only

Has electricity, nearby fire circle, and pit latrines.
