About our Honoree

Melodie Carter

Vice President of Business Development at Hebron Savings Bank

Melodie Carter is Vice President of Business Development at Hebron Savings Bank.  She has proudly represented the bank with her impeccable customer service and dedicated community involvement for 45 years!   She is currently serving as a board member for the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, the Life Crisis Center, Women Supporting Women, the Wicomico County Fair, Wicomico County Education Foundation, Community Foundations Women Fund, and is President of the America Cancer Society Leadership Council.  She can be found many nights and weekends working and supporting fundraisers for organizations that are near and dear to her, The Salvation Army, Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy Dental Event, March of Dimes, Alzheimer’s and Maryland Capital Enterprises are just a few of these organizations that benefit from her positivity and selfless desire to serve our community.  She was presented the prestigious award of Humanitarian of the Year in 2012 by the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce for her efforts.  

Melodies   dedication to her hometown of Hebron and desire to support small businesses in our community have fueled her long time, successful career at Hebron Savings Bank.  She visits many customers on a regular basis assisting them with everything from loan applications to business plans to online banking.  

Melodie resides in Hebron, MD and enjoys spending time with her 2 Sons and 5 grandchildren.  When she is not working or volunteering, she enjoys traveling with her friends and family.
