Attention all volunteers, leaders, and service team members--the Volunteer Conference is back! 

Join us on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Polytech High School for the 2018 Volunteer Conference! The fee is $35 and includes lunch.

Session 1
Volunteer Essentials

Knock out this required training in just two hours! Covered topics include the GSLE, finances, safety, and more more. NOTE: this is part one of a two-part session. 

Daisy/Brownie Workshop

Review the basic elements of delivering an effective Daisy/Brownie program. Session will be led like a troop meeting.

Ability Inclusion

Doubleknot/UltraCamp Demo

Learn about our two online systems for summer camp registration and property reservations. We'll go over how to register for summer camp, and how to reserve a unit or activity at camp. Afterwards, you'll be planning your trips with ease!

Importance of Forming a Troop Committee

Many hands make light work! How to involve your parents/adults in troop leadership, making the Girl Scout experience more fun and manageable for all. This workshop will display the importance of forming a team of active volunteers to help make a real, positive difference in the girl experience.

Recognitions and Ceremonies

Ceremonies are time-honored traditions used to recognize individuals and celebrate accomplishments; they encourage girls to take a short pause in their busy lives and connect with their fellow Girl Scouts in fun and meaningful ways. Learn about the different types of recognitions and ceremonies and where to find them. You may even get to plan your own ceremony!
