These sessions are self-led by your child, so you can sit back and get work done! At the end of the sessions, you will be asked to fill out a survey, and your Girl Scout will receive a patch!

Daisies receive fun patch for 10+ activities competed
Brownies receive fun patch for 15+ activities completed
Juniors receive fun patch for 20+ activities completed
Cadettes and above must complete 30+ activities

Global Action Award
Girl Scouts’ Global Action award calls for girls to address the Global Goals for Sustainable Development, or SDGs for short, by discovering, connecting, and taking action in their communities and beyond. In 2020, girls will explore SDG 5 (Gender Equality) to earn their Global Action award.

At Home Culture Challenge -  EF Tours for Girls develops international travel programming just for Girl Scouts.  With travel currently under restriction, EF never wants to stop empowering girls to broaden their horizons.  EF Tours is hosting a virtual challenge for Girl Scouts to encourage girls to keep their minds active and learn something new while they’re home.  We have a list of fun activities that will help them discover and connect with different cultures around the world. All girls have to do is complete one of these activities, submit a photo and they’ll be entered to win a prize! 

My Promise, My Faith
The Girl Scouts My Promise, My Faith pin invites girls in grades K-12 to experience a faith journey through exploration of the Girl Scout Law and teachings from their faith. Girls can earn this national pin each year.

Use one of our patch templates (or design your own shape) to create a fun patch for our council that girls will receive for completing their GSCB at home activities!

Submit your designs HERE before June 1st. Our staff will vote on all designs and once the top three are chosen we will ask our membership to vote on the winning design!

Winner must be a registered Girl Scout of the Chesapeake Bay. Patch design will be produced as closely to design as possible. GSCB may have to change small design elements to remain within Girl Scout branding guidelines.

Earn the Emergency Relief Fun Patch:

1. Complete 15+ homemade masks with the preferred guidelines of materials (CLICK HERE) and pattern (CLICK HERE). The best homemade masks have 3 things: pocket for air filter, bendable nose piece, and 100% cotton or cotton blend material in layers.

NOTE: Masks will be washed upon receiving so no need to wash before delivery.

Girl Scouts of Western Washington envisioned this patch program helping members and their communities be prepared for a natural disaster, namely an earthquake, but little did they know how valuable the skills and information would be during the COVID-19 health crisis we are facing today. To help girls during this challenging time, they have updated their program. The Great Cascadia Zombie Survival Challenge-COVID-19 edition is being rolled out starting March 16 with the requirements for earning the center patch!

Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts -  Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts continues to add virtual badge activities, programs, and resources for girls and families to engage with from home.

MY21 GS LOVES OUTDOORS

Beginning this May, take the national Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge, made possible by funding from Johnson & Johnson! Summer is the perfect time to celebrate our love of the outdoors. While safely socially distancing, explore the outdoors from your window, front step, laptop or the wide open trail!

The Girl Scouts Love the Oudoors Challenge Kicks off in May and ends with Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend on September 12 and 13, 2020. Based on your grade level, complete the required number of activities to earn a snazzy new patch.
