2019-2020 Campaign Information
Raising Funds for Dining Hall Renovation at Camp Grove Point
The Family Partnership Campaign is a GSCB annual campaign that provides families the opportunity to support Girl Scouting locally through their Service Unit. This helps provide financial resources that directly impact and improve the leadership experience of over 7,900 Girl Scouts in our service.
This year all funds donated through the Family Partnership Campaign will go to restore the Dining Hall at Camp Grove Point. All campers will once again be brought together for meals and other recreational activities. It will provide a sense of belonging, provide opportunities for girls to care for others and will build character through sharing meals, memories and comradery. By restoring the Dining Hall, girls will have a premier camping experience at camp. Much work has already been done to the camp buildings and the Dining Hall. But we need your help to complete.
Camp Grove Point is located on 244 scenic acres in Earleville, MD. Ecologically diverse, Grove Point is home to beautiful meadows, whimsical woods, untouched wetlands, and a sandy beach along the mouth of the Sassafras River. Grove Point has a Program Center, small lodges, and rustic camping units with Adirondack cabins and platform tents. A summer at Grove Point includes swimming in the pool, hiking with friends, and going for a boating adventure on the Sassafras.
