About Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay

Over one hundred years ago, the first Girl Scout troop was founded on the Delmarva Peninsula. With nearly 10,000 girls supported by 3,800 adult volunteers, Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay helps girls discover their strengths, passions and talents. Today, we continue the Girl Scout mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. And with programs for girls in 14 counties in Delaware and the Eastern Shores of Maryland and Virginia, Girl Scouts offers today’s girls a chance to do something amazing.

Regular Office Hours for NRC and PRC:

Monday to Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Bay Shop opens at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday in Newark and at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday in Salisbury. For full Bay Shop hours, please click here

On Friday, December 8, the PRC and Salisbury Bay Shop will be closed.  The NRC and Newark Bay Shop will be closing at 11:30 a.m.

Starting Saturday, December 23, both offices and Bay Shops will be closed for the holidays and will reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Program registrations for the first two weekends in January most be in the office by Thursday, December 21 to be processed on time.
