How much does it cost to be a Girl Scout?

Membership prices:
Girl Scout (Girls grades K-12) - $45/year ($25 membership and $20 Council Service Fee)
Adult - $25/year
Young Alumnae Lifetime (Ages 18-29) - $200
Lifetime - $400

In addition to the membership fee charged at registration, indvidual troops may charge troop dues to cover the cost of troop supplies. The dues amount is at the discretion of the Troop Leader(s), but is usually minimal, and will be communicated after the Girl Scout is placed in the troop.

Financial Assistance is now offered to girls and volunteers who fall into the guidelines set by the FDA Free and Reduced School Lunch Program. When “Request Financial Assistance” is checked during the registration process, a Member Care Specialist will reach out and share the Financial Assistance Application. Once completed, the FA will be approved or denied and the family communicated with accordingly. GSCB funds are limited, and resources are used wisely to assist the greatest number of eligible members.
