Girl Scouts have a long tradition of making the world a better place through community service. Gift of Caring encourages girls and the community to make a difference by donating Girl Scout Cookies and/or Fall Products to service members all over the world and to local charities.
Since 2003, our community has helped Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay send 557,280 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to men and women in the Armed Forces and numerous charities across the Delmarva Peninsula. In 2021, we sent 28,750 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to our Armed Forces and local charities.
It’s easy! You can purchase cookies from any troop or cookie booth and designate your purchase for Gift of Caring. Because you will not receive the cookies you purchase, your contribution is tax deductible. Donations still benefit Girl Scouts, as girls and troops receive full credit towards rewards and troop proceeds for all cookies sold through the program - so you're doing double the good!
