Program on the Move is Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay's primary source of program delivery.
What does that mean? It means this is your first stop for exceptional Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay programming!
New for 2026-27: Due to an increased focus on membership recruitment and community engagement, our Program team will be dedicating additional time to recruitment events and outreach efforts. As a result, Program on the Move will not be offered in an on-demand format for the 2026-27 membership year.
However, we are excited to introduce a new approach: Program on the Move: On Tour!
Beginning in November 2026, the Program team will being at least 2 FREE, staff-led programs to every Service Unit during the membership year. These programs will be open to all Girl Scouts, and the topics will be selected based on the interests and input of youth members within your Service Unit, ensuring each visit is meaningful and engaging.
What to expect from your Program on the Move visit:
- Every Girl Scout who participates in a Program on the Move program will receive a FREE patch! One patch per Girl Scout, per program year.
- GSCB will work with Service Units to determine the date, time and location of the program and GSCB staff bring necessary materials and know-how to facilitate the desired activities.

We've designed our Program on the Move topic selections with progression in mind. Each time you have a Program on the Move visit, your group will get a fresh, new program experience that builds upon the skills they have already learned during past visits.
