They are responsible for developing and implementing plans to retain and recruit girl and adult members within an assigned territory, supporting the organization overall membership goals. The Volunteer Support Specialist works collaboratively across all GCSB departments, to ensure volunteers are prepared to deliver a high-quality Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

Human Resources Manager

Job Summary: The Human Resources Manager (HR Manager) plans, directs, and coordinates all human resources/talent management activities of the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council (Council) to maximize the strategic use of human resources in support of the overall mission of the organization.  She/he initiates activities to minimize risk to the organization and serves as a partner in supporting the Council’s short- and long-term goals and objectives. She/he collaborates with the CEO, CFO, and Senior Leadership Team in implementing an effective human resources strategic plan and implements systems and processes that provide a high level of data integrity, including compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.  She/he develops, creates, and maintains a culture and environment that attracts, develops, and supports top talent. She/he works closely with the Senior Leadership Team to foster a culture of employee development and investment that results in increased employee satisfaction and retention.

Director of Maintenance

Job Summary: The Director of Maintenace is responsible for the daily management and ongoing maintenance needs at all council-owned facilities.  Ensures that all properties are kept in the best condition possible in order to ensure a high-level satisfaction among users.

2021 Summer Camp Positions

Looking for an action packed Summer leading and mentoring girls to become their best? Consider a position with GSCB during our 2021 Summer Camp Programs! From day camp to resident camp we have opportunities for you to impact building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place!
