Development Associate

Job Summary: The Development Associate will work in conjunction with the CEO and Director of Development to meet the development and fundraising needs of the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council (Council). 

Location: Newark, DE/Remote

Sr. Staff Accountant

Department: Finance Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

FLSA Classification: ☒Exempt ☐Non-exempt

Location: Newark Resource Center (NRC)

Job Summary The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for executing the monthly and yearly close which includes the recording of journal entries and the preparation of the financial statements. S/he will assist in the budget montioring and high-level analyses on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. They will be responsible for ensuring that all deposits and accounts payble are recorded properly in the accounting system. The Senior Staff Accountant will oversee and manage all restricted revenues – which include individual donations, government grants and foundations.
