Get your troop ready or bring your Girl Scout and come explore Cape
Henlopen State Park with us! The program will include outdoor camp
activities, nature exploration, and more fun! This is a great program
for troops who would like to try a fun camping experience without a lot
of planning.
Overnight includes lodging at Cape Henlopen's Youth Camp dormitories, evening dessert, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and badge. Please see our suggested packing list .
All Girl Scouts will earn their Environmental Stewardship badge; Junior Eco Camper, Cadette Eco Trekker, Senior Eco Explorer, and Ambassador Eco Advocate. Troops must be in ratio, individual Girl Scouts must attend with a guardian. All participants (child and adult) must be registered Girl Scouts, and all adults must have passed a background check.
This program does have an increased cost from other Adventurer Overnights due to the Youth Camp site rental - but offers a unique experience to stay at the beach and join us in exploring beach ecology!
