Help reforest a former meadow into thriving woodland, helping to restore the biodiversity and soil quality of Auburn Valley State Park. Girl Scouts of all ages are welcome to sign up for this free volunteer opportunity. Tools will be provided along with trees and group leaders to help instruct Girl Scouts on proper care of the planting. To achieve the three pillars of the Tree Promise Patch, the troops who volunteer will make a personal commitment to return seasonally to check the condition of the bare root plantings, to pick up litter and photograph their growth, and make the Tree Promise.
