Join GSCB to earn your American Red Cross Babysitting & Childcare certification along with American Red Cross Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification. This course is designed to provide youth ages 11-16 who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to give care safely and responsibly to children and infants. The goal of this training is to help participants develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business; keep themselves and others safe; and learn childcare skills and basic first aid. The American Red Cross Babysitter's Training certification is valid for 10 years. The American Red Cross Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification is valid for 2 years. Included in the program registration fees are both Red Cross certifications and an afternoon snack. Please note, the course has been updated to include AED certification. Cadettes will meet the requirements for the Babysitter Badge. The badge is provided.
