Summit Attendees! Want to help others learn how to operate and maneuver our small crafts; kayaks, stand up paddle boards and canoes? In this course you will learn information and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to small craft water emergencies. You will also practice leading a group.
You will be required to complete online coursework in gsLearn (approximately 3 hours) before attending the in-person training portion. This course does not certify lifeguarding.
There is no cost to individuals to complete the training, however, you are expected to facilitate four activity sessions. This is outlined in the Position Description and Facilitator Agreement. If you are a no show to in-person training, you will be subject to a no-show fee.

Please bring a water bottle, towel, bathing suit/clothes to swim in, water shoes and a change of clothes. We will be training in the water.
