Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay is proud to present the latest State of the Girl report, offering an in-depth look at the experiences, challenges, and opportunities facing girls across Delaware and the Eastern Shores of Maryland and Virginia.
Drawing from data across our council footprint, this report explores the issues impacting girls from kindergarten through 12th grade and highlights how the Girl Scout Leadership Experience is uniquely designed to meet their evolving needs. Through research-driven insights, the report demonstrates how Girl Scouts, with the support of the Delmarva community, empowers girls with the skills, confidence, and support they need to thrive today and lead tomorrow.
Stakeholders, business leaders, and community members from our footprint and beyond are invited to join us for a special launch event for the State of the Girl report on Friday, October 16th at Dupont Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware. More than a breakfast gathering, this event will provide space for conversation and shared commitment around investing in girls, expanding opportunity, and strengthing the future of Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay.
